Body Attack Sports Nutrition is breaking new ground in terms of sports funding and has been supporting the Hamburg Golf Association as a nutrition partner since April 2013. “Golf is an interesting new sport for us. We use a completely new target group. Very few still know us in golf. We are all the more happy about the partnership with such a renowned and traditional association, ”says Managing Director Jan Budde.
The Hamburg Golf Association (HGV), which currently consists of 22 clubs with approx. 22,000 members, hopes for nothing less from working with Body Attack than an increase in performance of its players. At the same time, these should deal more with the topic of nutrition. "Our golfers should know how to optimally supply the body before and after training or competition, so far there have been little experience in golf," says Dominikus Schmidt. The managing director of the HGV is pleased to have found a competent partner in terms of nutrition with Body Attack: “In competition, concentration plays an important role. A round can take up to four and a half hours to keep suitable drinks with minerals to keep up the concentration, so it is essential so that each blow can be carried out with constancy until the end, ”continued Schmidt.
The Mineral Booster and the Milk Bar Riegel are just a few of the selected nutritional supplements with which Body Attack support the 1st men of the HGV and therefore want to make them more efficient. “Many golfers don't even know how many minerals they lose during a round of golf. We would like to raise awareness that dietary supplements are also important for golfers and that you can perform more power with the right nutrition, ”explains Budde.
The Hamburg Golf Association was founded in 1966 and has committed itself to the development of popular sports as well as the promotion of youth and competitive sports. School golf is now an integral part of all HGV clubs. The association plans, coordinated, organizes and carries out betting games at the association level, develops programs for training and place judges training and represents the sporting interests of its members at the German Golf Association (DGV).
